Welcome

My name is Joana and I created this blog with the propose of showing my work. Since I was a child I’ve been connected with art. Due to this passion I had always associated, summarily, the painting, drawing and manual works, etc. Arts were my field of study at High School and these three years opened my eyes for other kind of Art – Sculpture. The constant wish of making a simple drawing into something three-dimensional, although unconscious at that time.

There seemed to me appropriate and fascinating the course of Plastic Arts – Sculpture. At this moment I am in 4th year of the same course, in the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto University (FBAUP). I love my course and I love being at FBAUP but I want to know other subjects, other cultures, other visions of Sculpture and other subjects. I want to learn different things. And I think the better way to do that is going for a while to another country. Study there and bring for Portugal something different. I want to grown up as a human being and as a sculptor. Above all, I am conscience that I have to learn more. And this is an opportunity to do that. Here, you will see some demonstrations of my work I hope you'll like it.
